http://www.clothingdonations.org/service.htm

Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) is a national veterans service organization primarily serving the needs of veterans of the Vietnam War era throughout the nation.  VVA is funded primarily by various fund-raising activities and its membership. One source of funding is through the solicitation and resale of donated household items. VVA solicits these donations by various marketing techniques and profits from the donations by selling them through contractual agreements with qualified retailers. As VVA is a veterans service organization it does not own retail outlets that sell the donations, instead has chosen to sell the donations through a bidding process to qualified retailers.

A portion of the proceeds from goods collected in Maryland are returned to the Maryland State Council and the Maryland Chapters of VVA for use in veterans service programs and community service program and are used only to further the exempt or charitable purposes of the organizations.

Pickups are made in the following counties in Maryland:

Anne Arundel
Baltimore
Baltimore City
Carroll

Charles
Frederick
Harford
Howard
Montgomery
Prince Georgeís
